We received a lovely hand-written letter from two local children who were organising a litter pick around Flackwell Heath, where our head office is located, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Both charity and the community are important to us as a business and we try to do what we can to support these. Alice and Jenna asked us for sponsorship for them and their friends for the litter pick around the community. We were more than happy to sponsor every child that got involved. In total 10 friends took part and together they collected 10 bags of litter.
They were invited, with their parents to join James Capel, CEO, and Caroline Hughes-Miles, Commercial Director, for tea and biscuits at our head office to share their experience of cleaning up the local area and collect their hard-earned charity money.
This is not only a fantastic way to raise money for a great cause, but also clean up our community.
