Electra Ride and Drive Experience Day

At Simply Waste Solutions, we’re committed to trialling the greenest technology available, and would like to invite you to experience a fully electric refuse collection vehicle (RCV).

The 26-tonne vehicle is manufactured by Electra Commercial Vehicles and runs on lithium-ion batteries, producing zero emissions.
Hosted at our West London depot on September 3rd and 4th, the Electra Ride and Drive Experience Days are strictly by appointment only and half-hour appointments can be booked by contacting kevin@simplywastesolutions.co.uk.

The experience provides our customers and prospective buyers the unique opportunity to test drive this fully electric RCV. As well as hearing how quiet it is, they can experience its energy efficiency first-hand and see how it could fit into a current fleet of vehicles.
On top of the two experience days at our depot, we will trial the non-polluting vehicle for two days. It will be put out on our busy and challenging rounds, so we can see ourselves how well it can handle the pressures of waste collection in central London.
