Our Depot

Our main depot is based in West London, less than one mile from Heathrow Airport’s perimeter fence, it services sites in London and the surrounding areas.

The depot is where we sort various clean materials for baling and recycling. We only have clean recycling at our depot such as wood, plastic, cardboard and cups.

If your business creates a lot of waste, you could maximise space on your site by hiring or purchasing a baler or compactor – static or portable. If you can separate high volumes of paper, cardboard or plastics you can create a revenue stream from your waste. We can collect baled or compacted materials with our Mixed Load Collection Service and sell the materials on, rebating your business for the recycling material. Follow the links for more information on balers and compactors.

All machinery sourced through us comes with full training and service plan options. Using a baler or compactor has many advantages:

  • Fewer site visits which in turn reduce your business’ carbon footprint
  • Lower costs
  • Maximising space on your site and minimising waste volume.

Wood waste piled up

Wood Collections

If you’ve got wood waste, we’ll collect it. We accept all non-hazardous types of wood waste and once collected from your site, is brought to our depot before being sent to a wood re-processor for recycling.

Wood collection services can be scheduled or ad-hoc, dependent on your business’ needs. We collect many types of wood, including pallets and crates but unfortunately, we don’t accept MDF or Chipboard.

We have two types of containers that can be used to store the wood on your site until it’s full and we come to collect. Our team can advise on what’s most suitable for your site:

  • Skip – available in two sizes – 8 and 12 yard open
  • Roll-On Roll-Off container (RORO) – available in two sizes – 20 or 40 yard open

We can collect wood waste on our artic with a curtain side trailer, we also have a truck-mounted forklift if you need us to load your waste, saving your business time.

plastic waste

Plastic Collections

If your business produces high volumes of plastic waste, let us take care of it for you. We can send one of our advisors to you to complete a full site audit of all your waste streams to give advice on how we can improve your waste management solutions and make it more environmentally friendly.

We are an experienced waste management company and can offer guidance on how to minimise plastic waste and how best to sort and treat plastics.

We can accept various grades of plastic, please get in touch about what plastic you have, and our sales team will be happy to give their expert knowledge on specific waste types.

We have various containers that can be used for plastic waste to suit different customers’ needs:

  • Two and four-wheeled bins
  • Skip – available in two sizes – 8 and 12 yard open
  • Roll-On Roll-Off container (RORO) – available in two sizes – 20 or 40 yard open
  • Rear End Loaders – available in 8, 12 or 16 yard containers.

If you regularly create lots of plastic waste, a compaction and/or baling unit might benefit your business. A compactor uses a hydraulic ram to compact the material maximising the space available and reducing the number of visits to empty the container. A baler is a separate unit that compacts and bales plastic that you store on your site and we can come and collect using our artic with a forklift if required.

Any waste that we collect from our customers is always treated in the greenest and most practical means possible and comes with full transparency as to what happens to your waste once it has left your site.

cardboard waste

Cardboard Collections

Cardboard packaging is widely used and is a valuable resource. We collect clean cardboard in small and large quantities. For smaller bundles, we sell cardboard tape and can collect in a van to be added to other collected cardboard.

Large quantities have multiple options and if your business can segregate its cardboard waste, this can be turned into a commodity and create a revenue stream from the things you throw away.

If your business creates lots of cardboard waste but has little room on site, we can supply, for hire or purchase outright, balers and compaction machinery. Using baling and compaction machinery has multiple benefits from minimising site visits to maximising space available.

We can offer cardboard collections in:

  • Cardboard sticker tape bundles
  • 1100L wheelie bin
  • Skip – available in two sizes – 8 and 12 yard open
  • Roll-On Roll-Off container (RORO) – available in two sizes – 20 or 40 yard open
  • Rear End Loaders – available in 8, 12 or 16 yard containers.

If you regularly create lots of clean cardboard waste, a compaction and/or baling unit might benefit your business. A compactor fits onto one of our containers and compacts your waste maximising space inside, this reduces the number of times we need to visit your site, decreasing your business’ carbon footprint. A baler is a separate unit that compacts and bales material at your site, we then come and collect these bales with our mixed load collection artic. If needed, our driver can use our forklift to load the bales freeing up your staff to carry on with day to day operations. These can be hired from us or purchased outright.

Once the material has been collected, it’s brought to our depot to be sorted and baled (if not already baled). Once there is enough for a full load it’s collected by a re-processing company to be recycled and turned into new products again. We offer full transparency with all our collections and cardboard bales are no different.

paper coffee cup waste

Cup Collections

At our West London depot, we sort and bale paper and plastic cups to be recycled. Cups are collected through the Simply Cups collection scheme. The first dedicated paper and plastic cup collection and recycling service in the UK.

Cups can be recycled into a wide range of new products, from office supplies such as pens and pencils to park benches and even a new reusable cup – the rCUP. This is the world’s first reusable coffee cup made from used paper cups.

Cups can be collected in bags or wheelie bins, dependent on how many cups your business generates and how frequently you need collections. Cups aren’t just empty cups – there’s lids, straws and liquid too. Simply Cups can provide holding units to collect all these components, these come in various sizes and designs to suit different businesses needs and all stack the cups maximising the available space.

After the cups are collected, they’re brought to our West London depot where they’re baled before being taken to a cup reprocessing plant, of which there are only three in the UK.
